Cut produce to feed smoothly, remove unsuitable stones and hard skins, and follow the machine manual for citrus peel.
Feed manageable pieces and alternate fibrous ginger with juicier produce if the machine begins to labour.
Variety, ripeness, temperature and preparation affect output. Record the actual millilitres rather than trusting a generic promise.
Natural foam and settling are normal. Mix the finished batch consistently before bottling.
Pulp is far easier to rinse from the screen before it dries into fruit-flavoured cement.
